Florence has been making all our beaded jewellery for over eight years now. I first met her in Nanyuki, where she had a very small duka (shop) made from corrugated tin. She has recently relocated happily to the Mara, grown her business, employs other bead-workers while single-handedly raising her two children. Beading has provided a wonderful income, and we continue to support her with a proper wage and continuous orders!
