Leso fabric is a cultural work of art and is often referred to as The Kenyan Coast Jewel.  Lesos are predominantly found on the coast of Kenya, East Africa, and are worn by women as aprons, skirts, or around the house. The material is unique in its presence of brightly coloured patterns and borders and is adorned with Swahili proverbs. This fabric is waxed by hand during the multiple-colour layering process. Please wash all the covers first to remove the wax and give a soft, comfortable feel to the fabric.
