The Year Ahead……..

We have just completed our first year and what a year it has been!  With each basket you purchased last year,  you helped to improve and secure a better future for these women directly.  Women are earning and that is a wonderful thing!

Our 3 artisan ladies who weave full time for Dada Duka, have now become 7!  With more events booked for this year we hope to continue to grow, the ladies to have a regular income, retain their traditional skills whist keeping their semi nomadic lifestyle.

We are very excited to now be supporting BeadWORKS.  A handicraft business whose mission is to incubate and build entrepreneurial skills among women within Northern Rangelands Trust,  N Kenya. Each piece of beaded jewellery is totally unique, made by the amazing “Star Beaders”  and will compliment our vibrant baskets beautifully whilst sharing our ethical beliefs.

Really looking forward to meeting you all again this year!  with our next delivery of basket arriving in just over a month away, its a very colourful exciting time ahead!
